Welcome to Duxbury Free Library's New Book Blog!

Welcome to "From Austen to Zusak," a new blog from the staff at the Duxbury Free Library in Duxbury, Massachusetts. We will be reviewing the books we’ve read and providing thoughts on the books we’re reading now, with a focus on adult fiction and mystery  – though other genres might make an occasional appearance. 

There will be memorable quotes, (hopefully) funny observations, and anything else that catches our fancy as we read from the many and diverse offerings from our library. Join us as we discuss our favorite topic – books! We’d love to hear your thoughts as well. We’ll try our best to keep our posts and the comments spoiler free.

This past summer, the staff of the library challenged each other to read as many books as we could from our “Hot Summer Reads” selection – a curated collection of interesting, diverse books perfect for summer reading. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be posting thoughts about some of the books I read from the collection (17 and counting out of more than 100 books!). After that, I'll be posting thoughts on all the random books I read throughout the year, along with reviews from many other staff members at the library.
